Torts can do highlighted bold, but doesn't like responsibility that comes with it. Therefore he prefers the players to do what should have been his job. This way he blames them in case success doesn't come. All he does is he changes the performers, instead of instructing them. This way he at the same time sends the message he doesn't like the end result and requires THEM to come up with the tactical change that is needed. Christ may not be the best performer out there, but he is incredibly smart for a NHL player. He knows how the play should develop. That is why he is out there doing coaches job.
