To play them while we're healthy.

Primeau and Kapanen were our two best players in that series., missing them causes problems.

The 2nd period last night was our worst of the season.

Neither team generated much in the way of scoring chances last night.

Two brutal giveaways (Pitkanen & Therien) led to the 1st & 3rd goals. The 2nd was a fluke bounce, followed by an absolute rocket of a shot by Richards.

When the Flyers did get their chance last night they either missed the net (Knuble) or failed to shoot (Forsberg).

I thought Hitch erred in the line combos last night. While missing 3 of our top 9 forwards, he spread the talent too thin on lines 2-4. I thought he should have loaded up the 2nd line by putting Handzus and Carter together to try and generate more offense.

Carter was our most impressive forward last night.

Desjardins was extremely rusty last night. Must have had about 12 of his passes picked off last night, which is highly unusual for him.
