Gary Roberts would be a great addition... if only he was a couple of years younger. I believe he has another year on his contract and he will also be turning 40 and is rather injury prone. But man did he used to torment the Kings every time back when Roberts was a member of the Flames. A guy like him, Wendel Clark or Rick Tocchet is exactly the type of player I would love to see the Kings add for a stretch run.

No more guys like Carter, Emerson, Ronning or Audette. As much as I like Brown and Robitaille, I don't think Brown is prepared for a role in the top six and Luc should primarily be a powerplay specialist with limited 5-on-5 ice time. As much as many people dislike Keith Tkachuk, he might be a great fit for this team and perhaps spark some offense with JR. He is getting paid a hefty sum this season, but next season his contract is reduced significantly to $3.8M. I can't imagine what the Blues would ask for return, but I think it is safe to say that Frolov, Gleason, Brown, Tambellini and Kopitar are "hands off." It would also be doing them a great deal of service to take Tkachuk's contract off their hands.

Another name to consider as a possibility to be moved is Jamie Langenbrunner, once Elias returns. He has a knack for scoring big goals and another plus side to his game is his versatility to play either side of the wing, or even center if needed.
