This is correct information. Look at nhlpa more clearly!
What Battousai wrote is what matters here. When calculating salaries for cap purposes, the total amount of the contract is averaged over the term of the contract, and that average is what hits the cap. The player might receive a loaded contract, but as far as the NHL Cap Lord is concerned, all NHL contracts are averaged.

John knows this, and we've all been through it before here so I'm sure that's why he didn't feel the need to hash it out again.
