Penner needs to develop more chemistry with his center. He is a sniper more than anything and he finds himself in decent sniping locations and still has a good shot, the problem is that he was used to playing with Hemsky in an offensive system and Hemsky was able to find him everywhere. Kopitar and Richards can do that for him, but it is a two way street. He needs to work with his center more and put more effort on the ice to get into position and make plays happen. If he is open, they will get him the puck, and it is up to him to make his shot, but Penner definitely has the tools to succeed on this team, and he isn't as abysmal of a player that we think him to be. He can still put it together, hopefully he gets back soon.

“This is for you Kings fans wherever you may be. All the frustration and disappointment of the past is gone. The 45 year drought is over. The Los Angeles Kings are indeed the Kings of the National Hockey League. They are the 2012 Stanley Cup Champions!” - Bob Miller
