Tambellini is putting it together (Union Leader)

A good article about Tambs by Kevin Provencher in today's Union Leader....

From the article:

“I was listening to the way (coach) Jimmy Hughes wants me to play and the way he believed I could play,” said Tambellini. “Hounding pucks down. Creating my own turnovers. Never stop moving my feet.

“It really is different from college. At Michigan I could capitalize on an opportunity when it was present. I wasn’t creating my own turnovers.”

The formula for pro success wasn’t a big secret, it was just different for Tambellini.

“Be hard to play against,” he said. “Hard to control and hard to contain. Little things. Little things that are hard to notice have changed for me. I’ve had to jam into the front of the goal, a hard spot. You have to go stand in front of the net and take a beating to stand there.”
