No, they were and are on completely friendly terms. They had played together on Latvian junior teams many times, and both had played in the Russian junior league prior to moving to the OHL. They were simply 17/18 year olds who called each other the day before and thought it would be funny to go at it. After the game they were shooting the $hit like usual, although Kulda's nose was a noticeably swollen and bloodied. I wouldn't expect them to do something as pointless in an NHL game though when neither has a completely permanent spot lined up. I'm not even 100% sure Kulda will be playing, since he sat one out a couple of games ago.
