Everyone used to make a good quality wood stick, made of different laminates... But I don't know of any actual ones that are really good....
5030 is alright, 9950 is decent, but I remember Jofa and Easton used to have good woodies... Not so much anymore
Option, get a 2 piece, like an st shaft and get a wood blade...
You may have to replace it more often but you get the wood feed (vibration) and even if you chip it up from a face off... Just glue on a new one.
