Brayden Schenn has played a total of 12 NHL career games totaling 2 points. Rookies rarely jump right in to fill the role of a veteran (established) center. If you don't see the problem with having Giroux alongside 2 rookies down the middle, I don't know what to tell ya.
Though the argument "they would be sick" sure makes a valid point.
He has a NMC, so it won't be happening anyhow.
