You said he is not playing well. When the bad stretch is over 2/3 of the season played. Thats like saying Gomez you have had a poor last 100 games, but because thats only struggling for a small part of your career, we will give you another 5 million dollar contract. Fact is he hasnt played it well this year and when his only redeeming quality is his shot, and you have one of the worst PP's in the league, how do you justify not trying something different.
by the way, dont bring up junior. There are more junior stars that flop at the NHL then succeed. Weber has shown little that he is capable of leading a pp unit. Okay, he lead them to 26th in the league. In your opinion, keep going with whats not been working. Good job coach.
