I think it actually raises some potential problems for the Sharks. The old Avs w/Sakic and Forsberg notwithstanding, it has been very unusual for a team to be successful w/two bona-fide [and all-star] number 1 centers. Marleau is the captain, the face of the franchise and a budding superstar [he's already a star, even though a lot of people don't know it...]- I just don't see the Sharks limiting his ice time; but you've got to make room for Thornton's major minutes. I wonder if the Sharks are not done dealing....??? If so, I'd love to get Marleau in a heartbeat!

Interesting to see all the family combinations this season- Scott Niedermayer going to Anaheim to play w/brother Rob, and now Joe Thornton united w/cousin Scott in SJ.
