I don't know. I just started a new thread on the Yotes forum to ask them about Savage.
How they like him/or hate him, does his play as changed, how much he is making, how many years he have left with his contracts.
Maybe they can be takers for Audette. Aud and Sav are pretty similar I think.
They can both be better with a new environment, with new teamates, get a new start.
Anyway even if Savage is injured, it can be a good trade. Savage injured will be able to invite Saku and his wife for supper. Habs have enough depth to replace Audette or Savage. Giving more ice time to Hossa can help him with his confidence, Saku will be back soon, a question of one week, Kilger is back next game. It's not a problem if Savage injured isn't in the line-up, it's a matter to get rid of Audette and leave a free spot at the right wing for whoever: Perezhogin, Higgins, Ryder, Plekanek. Habs have too many forwards now. And it's time to give prospects some NHL ice time.
