This is Jackmans first year as a full time NHLer, hes not going to be the best guy out there, but if you look at him as a rookie-second year #4 guy hes doing fine. And if he got moved to the wing he'd just be ANOTHER grinder, another Roberts or Tucker or Reichel, only without the offensive skill of those guys. He'd be a 4th line checker. With Kaberles offensive ability he could be a top 6 scoring winger (add at least 20 pts to his totals as a D-man), which is what the leafs need. As for offense from the blueline, they still have McCabe (5pts in 5 games) and Jackman, who both have good shots, as well as Pilar coming back who also has a good, hard shot.
