There are LOTS of fowards who aren't very physical (Mogilny, Comrie come to mind right away) and successful, not being physical doesn't hurt fowards as much as it hurts defensemen, plus they can put him on a line with more physical fowards. And I would image (given his past as a defenseman) Kaberle would be very defensivly responsible and could still help move the puck around. Its also not like McCabe, Klee and Pilar are usless with the puck either. And again who would you trade?
Leaf Army - Right now the Leafs offense is a bigger problem then the defense.
"We'd be losing one of the best two-way defencemen in the league and replacing him with Pilar"
- Kaberle is in NO WAY one of the best two-way D-men in the league. Getting a top 6 foward would be MUCH more to their advantage then getting a 4th line checker. If one of the D-men gets moved up, it should be Kaberle. When D-men gets moved up you move up the offensive minded ones, not the stay-at-home guys. Moving Jackman just moves a body, moving Kaberle improves the offense
