I wouldn't trade Fischer for Hamrlik if I were the Wings. Mike Peca, on the other hand, would fill a huge need for the Wings and makes them alot more dangerous. I wouldn't want to face the Wings with Peca on their team.

Yeah, but if you followed the thread, I wasn't suggesting that such a deal would make sense for the Dead Wings. My only point was that the Isles are not going to take apart their roster without something very signficant coming in return.

And, my other comment still stands. It would certainly be foolish for the Wings to trade a young stud like Fisher. But, it would be equally foolish for the Isles to make this deal. Fisher is not a number one dman, and Hamrlik is. In the SHORT TERM, Hamrlik is the more valuable player for a team trying to make the playoffs.

Man, do I ever miss Oleg Kvasha. If Oleg was here, everything would be OK.
