The doctors they "hire" are prominent guys that are affiliated with local hospitals, etc.
Gary Dorshimer is a prominent guy, he's not just the Flyers doctor. He works out of Pennsylvania Hospital and teaches at Penn. He's made the Philly Magazine top docs list a bunch of times.
The guy that ceased doing the job was a prominent guy as well. I think he was also with Penn, if memory serves.
The medical staff is comprised of top doctors, believe it or not. It always has been. They aren't the problem. Well, at least not in the sense people think of (i.e. a bunch of nameless quacks.)
