Would you trade 2 years of those players' prime so they can play a few more years in their mid to late 30s? I bet most of them wouldn't.

And some people are obviously more prone to concussions than others. Lindros was a headcase regardless of how long he would have sat out. I mean look at Crosby, dude sat a year and some bumps gave him "symptoms" again. Crosby is either going to fully recover or be damaged goods like Lindros regardless of how long he sits.
