As much as the point production is lacking, he definately has helped out in other areas. He's been a force along the boards (one of the only ones on this team) and has been fairly efficient and controlling the puck. Though I do think he could stand to learn to shoot sometimes just as Zednik could learn to pass once in a while. Their predictable patterns makes it easier for the opposition to know who to keep a closer eye on.

Anyhow, we'll see in a couple of weeks what this translates to. I see no harm in him sitting out a game.

Hossa is a mutt. They should shuffle him off to Ottawa ASAP for whatever they can get for him. Maybe Antoine Vermette who they should have drafted ahead of Hossa in the first place back in 2000.
