No one should make it on what they did in 1998. Come on JR, if you keep sucking as you have so far, you will only hurt the team. If they want leadership, there are plenty of guys like Modano, Amonte, Conroy, and even Smolinski that have been better than you this year.
You don't hear Stevie Y. making statements like that. But then again, Stevie has a gold medal and a Cup ring. JR is desparate to win something before he goes outta the game.
