I completely agree, nobody seems to recognize Gretzky's longevity as anything. I guess it all comes down to how you look are rating them (career vs. talent). But I think when it comes to ranking all time top players NHL, career is the only way to go....talent throws too many variables in to make it really possible to just becomes one person's opinion at one time.
