Robitaille IMO has always been a worthless, one-dimensional floater and none of his 500+ goals seem to matter much or have been very timely or important (same as Shanahan) ... truly great players during the downside of their careers take on a more defensive-minded role (Yzerman, Niewendyk [sp?] ) and help their teams that way. why does this guy still get 1st and 2nd line minutes?
for sentimentality sake, the Kings organization marched the guy out for a 3rd time; i don't think too many other teams would be giving him the type of mins he currently gets, let alone have a prominent role in the offense.

i suppose if you stick around long enough, you'll break a lot of records; if he's hanging around just to pass Dionne's mark then he is just a self-absorbed chump.

follow Brett Hull's lead, the glue factory is right around the corner.
