In Desharnais' game, what exactly would would a few inches do when he's on a line with Pacioretty and Cole?
Size isn't really a factor for Crosby, Giroux, Briere, Newgent-Hopkins and many many more, just because as I've mentionned, they have have wingers that compliment them. Desharnais has the vision and passing game to make any player around him look good.
For the bottom 6, now that's a different story...
that's the thing, a player like DD HAS to play with such players to be effective, wich means others C - like our #1 C Plekanec is stuck with big wingers such as Gionta and Camm... or 3rd liners like Moen since he's the only other available big winger we have (AK being with Eller)...
