One thing I learn from MacLean is he must really believe a player has to take someone's job by being better or they don't get played.

I felt he was never really comfortable playing Rundblad; certainly not Filatov and now Butler. I think he'd play Lee more if he could, but Carkner needed a look and does add a dimension.

Based on last night, Turris shows a lot of promise and hopefully will solidify the 2C as we've needed that for years.

Butler could be moved at some point for a pick if someone was looking. I would however be interested in seeing if their was anything at all between Turris and Butler before that happened.

Winchester looks out for a time and will have to take his place back from Konopka, probably into the new year.
