I think the key tonight was that the Oilers didn't let up any real 5 star chances...

Yeah, there was the giveaway, but that puck could have easily been deflected into the corner or something (it wasn't, but anyways).

Can't do much on 5 on 3's... other than staying out of the box.

But tonight there wasn't that guy left all alone on the door step for an easy goal... even the bigger saves Salo had to make (from the replays I have seen), the player shooting didn't have nearly the same amount of time or space the Oilers had previously been giving guys.

The Oilers gave up a lot of shots, but IMO, alot of them sounded like they were easily handled, and they let Salo get into the game, while the players worried about what their jobs were. No more trying to block a point shot from a bad angle, leaving your man open.
