Kanko is playing with a lot of confidence right now. He's scored some timely goals for the Monarchs this season. A week ago Nowicki described Kanko as a kid that can put a 3" disk through a 2 1/2 inch opening.
I remember Kanko's first pre-season with the Kings, he had a bunch of goals in the pre-season and he was playing with Allison.

Then last year it looked like his offense was nill. Looks like he may have regained that touch this year though. People compared him to Esa Tikkanen when he first came up, but Esa could score 15-20 goals a year in the show. Let's see if Kanko can do that...
