Sadly no. The way Redden is playing for CT, he wouldn't be in competition for the 7th d-man even considering all our injuries. He's no better than, Woy, Strålman, Erixon, Bickel, Bell or Parlett. He's done as a hockey player on any lever above the AHL.
I hear he's great with the kids and that he played a part in mentoring McD, but as a hockey player he's just not that good anymore.
