The only issue my mom had in stitching it for me was that the red layer on the numbers already had zig-zag stitching to give it the appearance of being sewed on. With a little work she was able to go right over it and you can't even really tell unless you are looking for it.

I was just very worried about washing it and having everything fall off.

Aren't mom's the best? Haha!

All that being said....I now understand why NHL switched the heat pressing the replicas. Even with everything all ready in place in took her a good hour and a half to stitch everything down correctly (and mind you...she runs her own small business...she is VERY good at this stuff). She said that if I bought a letter kit she would stitch up my white liberty jersey for me. I am interested to see how long it takes her to do it from scratch.
