Kronwall skating

Niklas Kronwall - D - Red Wings

Niklas Kronwall has been skating for a week now.
Kronwall, who underwent successful surgery to repair torn ligaments in his left knee Oct. 10, said "it's too early to say at this point" if he could return earlier than the four- to six-month timetable he originally was given. "Right now I'm just really excited to be out on the ice," he said. "You know, hopefully I want everything to go as fast as possible, but I've got to take everything one step at a time. And he hasn't set any goals yet; he's just following his trainer's orders. "Just as far as skating, I feel a whole lot better than I thought I would," Kronwall said. "They said at this point I should be feeling pretty good. I'm just very excited that I feel as well as I do right now." Dec. 13 - 8:32 am et
