Semin won't be making 6.7 after this season. Probably looking @ 5.5.,
Plus, as I said, Semin is free as a UFA... Nash costs JVR+. That's a huge difference.
Plus it makes sense for WSH to trade Semin or to let him go as a UFA, whereas it makes 0 sense for the Blue Jackets to let Nash go since he's the face of the franchise and is the entire reason they traded for Carter.
So yeah... I'd call it apples and oranges.
