The Kesler example makes sense, but what does the Sedins one prove? They SHOULD be getting "sheltered minutes" because they can score 100 points in a season.

Hockey is just so different from baseball, it's difficult to prove a point besides the most obvious ones (including that the Selke has become a "best offensive defensive player" award ) with SABR stats.
