At the end of the season if this holds true still it would be a more concrete way to look at the situation. Not saying it won't continue this way because he is definitely not playing well, but less than half a season is too short of a time period to look at stats this way.
Of course it's not a guarantee, no sports statistics are 100% accurate because there are a lot of variables.

But looking at stats like this helps eliminate one variable (how good a team's offense is) so they are more accurate than just looking at actual records
