Norfolk is horrible as a travel destination. The only worse one in the AHL is St. Johns. How do you figure Charlotte got screwed? They are a hub of US Air and everyone in the west is pretty near another hub airport. They go to Chicago for Rockford, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Peoria maybe GR. Houston for San Antonio, Houston, Austin (Texas), Cleveland for GR and Lake Erie, Vancouver for Abbotsford, Toronto for Hamilton and Toronto. The most difficult team to get to in the west in OKC.

Charlotte was also probably the only team that didn't complain about travel costs since their costs always involved flying somewhere then busing to destinations.
