But you are overlooking the fact that Bouchard has been better than the other d-men for the most part.

With Bouchard and deVries being productive, with Leetch back, with Kovalev getting time on the point on the PP, who can someone not say that having Bouchard allows Sather to look and deal Poti. Remember it's not Bouchard or Poti. It's Bouchard and whatever Poti would return in a trade. If the production is being compensated for, how can someone not think that Poti is expendable with Bouchard playing well.

And can we stop with Poit being an All Star. The guy was an All Star because Leetch was injured and could not play.
