I can't believe people are giving Schenn grief. He is clearly one of our top 9 forwards, and we have a very good, deep group of forwards. He has been snakebitten with injuries that aren't his fault. Shoulder coming out of camp, came back and broke his foot right away blocking a Subban shot. Came back from that and got a concussion. Came back from that and played very well vs. Pitt, flattening Malkin once, winning draws and then scored in the Classic.
If he can stay healthy and get a solid second half in, he'll score some goals, set up lots more with his excellent creativity, make lots of clean hits, play well at both ends of the rink and win faceoffs. Knock wood.
