I think this is an agree to disagree situation. My opinion is that there is more to Poti's offensive contributions than pp time, and that his defense has been much improved this year. I also don't think that a team that has Greg de Vries and Joel Bouchard as it's secondary offensive weapons from the blueline is in very good shape.

Honestly, I don't see a huge need for another d-man anymore. This current corps, if used properly, could be quite good, but that means sticking with the pairs that work (de Vries-Poti and Kaspar-Bouchard) and constructing the rest around it (seeing if Leetch can click with Malakhov or Mironov). But Slats seems hellbent on keeping both Malakhov and Mironov in the lineup every night, so it won't happen.
