Of course he's gonna make mistakes. He's 20 years old with limited NHL experience. Most if, not all young players are gonna have a bit of an adjustment period to go through. Have to give the guy sometime to get comfortable at the NHL level.

As long as he plays solid 2 way hockey and chips in a few points he's doing his job on the 3rd line. But i'd bet as he gets comfortable by the end of the year he'll be getting more minutes and will be killing penalties.
