Looking at your map, unless someone is aware of blockades of some sort, I'd go diagonally across the LP Field parking lot toward Victory and Shelby, then go toward 1st. The "Sparkman Street Bridge" is a pedestrian bridge that ends up right next to the Pinnacle Building on 3rd and it's a very short walk across Symphony Place and through the Hilton parking lot to the arena.
