Exactly. Say there are 17000 season ticket holders. 2 tickets apiece is 34,000. Throw in a couple of tickets apiece for the owners there 's another 60-100 say.

Get some sponsors and hold maybe 10,000 tickets for them.

So you are at about 45,000 in a stadium that seats just under 60,000.

They only "gave" away, what 7500 tickets?

So there should 7,500 tickets left. So where did they go?

Speaking from past experience, this is pretty typical of the way the Oilers PR and Marketing work.

By the way, for those of you living outside of Edmonton, trust me those city councillors have done NOTHING to earn those tickets.
