The first game after the trading deadline, Low put Kamensky on the 4th line and left him there for the rest of the season. It was pretty clear how much use Low had for him.
Kamensky played miserable, disinterested hockey all year. Sather publically banished John MacLean who always tried hard and never gave less than his all on the ice. And yet, he allowed a slug--who's only interest in continuing to play was to make sure he got paid his retirement contract--to play all season. Go figure.
