If he could learn to dial it back a notch, the game would slow down for him just enough to make proper decisions more often. He doesn't have to be a snow plow, just dial it back a little.
He's a skilled player, but he's not Pavel Bure.
Yeah, that's how I see it too. He's easily one of the fastest players in the league, but that doesn't help when you fall down the second you pass the puck. I'd like to see him maybe work with a skating instructor (like Brian Boyle did with a former figure skater) over the off season to kind of 'reign in' control. If he can get better use out of his edges and more control it would vastly improve his game.
