bruins have the slight edge being the defending cup champs. that goal differential is really really astounding, i dont know of any other team that has had one that high. reg season means nothing last year we were 3-1 vs the caps and 3-1 vs the bruins. but 1/21 will give us an idea on how they would match up. both teams are built very similiar,shutdown defenses, and 2 WORLD CLASS goalies. hank and timmy t are like 1a and 1b. rangers have a good offense but i still think we are one top 6 legit scoring threat away from being a team you dont wanna see in the playoffs. bruins offense is better than the rangers being how all 4 lines are all scoring with balance. then again when they play, expect the 2-1,3-2 outcome. every year these 2 teams are fun to watch when they play. this year it will be taken to a whole new level.
the best part about these 2, they basically have been going jab for jab since oct 31st, the rangers are 24-6-1. since nov 1, the bruins are 24-5-1. talk about being close. can't wait for the heavyweight bout next weekend.
