The Boyle line had to play beyond their ability tonight in order for them to succeed. It was insanely frustrating watching them flub on scoring chances, but they were the only line that was consistently generating offense and getting pucks deep.

Had Dubinsky played tonight, I think things would have gone a little differently. Without him in the lineup, there was a lot less "jam" in the top 6. The Dubi-Richards-Cally line has done a good job of forechecking and maintaining puck possession lately. If we had that element to our top 6 today, the Boyle line wouldn't have had to be relied upon as much.
