KINGS face the OILERS in what happened to Colten Teubert ?

It’s one of those things where you definitely want to come out on top and make it a memorable one for Darryl coming back here and facing his old team. (on if Darryl Sutter seemed any different today…) No, not really. If anything, he was a little bit more focused and wanted to win it a little more tonight. I don’t know if you can get more intense than him. The guys liked it. It’s definitely a change from Terry, before, and right now it seems like we’ve been doing pretty well under him."

(on improved Scoring & Power Play…) You kind of get into a funk, with that cloud over your head, where nothing is going in and you’re scratching and clawing for two goals. Now, we’re getting a lot of chances. Our power play is clicking. The PK is there, like it’s always been, and same with our defensive play. I think we’re just really bearing down on our chances. Execution. There aren’t too many fadeaway plays, where you’re on the back of your heels trying to make a pass. It’s very focused. Everybody is in an athletic position. We’re trying to do what the coach tells us, and I think we’re getting a lot of shots through, and screens in front."

It’s not something we’re used to. It’s a struggle. I think we rebounded back after a tough first period. Our power play scored a big goal in the second. It’s really been something that we’ve tried to concentrate on, and we’re getting better at it. That was pretty much the game, at the end of it. (on playing with a lead…) It’s not so much playing with a lead. We’ve just had trouble scoring goals. You score two, three. You talk about that two- or three-goal lead being hard to play with. In this league, you sit back too much and you end up playing in your own zone too much. It’s something we just have to work at. Our goalie was really good in the first period, those first four or five minutes. The Flames have been hot at home, so you knew they were going to come out strong. (on the Kings gaining some momentum of late…) It’s a tough league. I don’t think momentum is something I see. What you try to build is confidence. (on beating his brother Brent…) Non-factor. It’s interesting that you guys keep talking about it. Our concept, and our mindset, is always about the team first. That stuff really doesn’t mean much to me. (on whether the game was emotional for him…) No. We play tomorrow. That was the first thing I said after the game. We play at 6 o’clock tomorrow in Edmonton. That’s our biggest challenge. (on players saying he was more intense than usual…) That’s good. Winning games in the NHL, there has to be some emotion. (on the atmosphere in the building…) It’s no different than what I said this morning. It’s a great building to be in. That’s what it’s about. What more do you want? A kid from Alberta on Hockey Night in Canada in an Alberta building. Pretty awesome, right?"

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER
