How long has Columbus been trying to develop/sign/ trade for one? They are scarce and teams hold onto them. As many have said previously, shore up the defense with capable NHL players playing where they should be and the CBJ won't need an elite goalie. Seriously...how many NHL teams have a goalie who is considered elite? How many games did Detroit win with Osgood, Legace, Howard? Quite a few and it wasn't because they were elite goal tenders, it was because they play sound defense.
