The thing is we probably will not be playing against Dallas in the playoffs unless the Kings finish 6th in the division. Which is a little too close to 9th place for my taste. If the Kings win the division however they will at least be guaranteed home-ice in the first round. Which will probably be against Colorado or Nashville. I think every bit helps.
