Depends on the female...
Fact is the laws fall short on this sort of thing. I have a good friend who's baby's momma ( i love saying that) goes berzerk on him from time to time. She will scratch and punch him, whatever to get him riled up. As soon as she gets him where she wants him she calls the cops (her dad is a sheriff) and guess who gets taken away? Not her, but she instigated it knowing at some point he would grab her or shove her away to keep from getting his eyes clawed out.
My point is you are judging the man based on an incident that you do not have all of the facts on.
...And how do you know Luc has not invited Corvo over for some occasion? Oh that's right you don't really know any details about what goes on in the locker room.
I don't know either which is why I won't judge him on this. Check my posts, I am not a Corvo apologist but I can't stand people who judge other's without really knowing the whole story.
