It did, but I think it's important to remember the circumstances of what was essentially a firesale...The 03-04 team was possibly the most disgraceful of all during the dark years. They were talented, but past their prime. Overpaid & underperforming. And let's not forget, they were coached by Sather himself. We were essentially eliminated from playoff contention before the deadline.

Sather committed to youth, but what were the motives? That's the interesting question to me.
