One thing that hasn't made sense to me for the entirety of Torts' and Sullivan's tenure here is why they are so hesitant to put shooters on their off-wing on the power play. It's always lefty shooter on the left point and righty shooter on the right point... it makes it very awkward for the point men to put the puck on net quickly and with authority.

It's so much easier to shoot when you're on the offwing, especially if you're on the point on the PP, hence why guys (and righty shots) like Stamkos and Ovechkin are usually on the left point on the PP. I understand that we don't have shooters of that caliber but it's so blatantly obvious to me when watching this team's power play that the point men aren't at all threatening.
