A little similar for me, Bristol Ice Rink (UK) is in the town centre on about the third floor of concrete building, the floor underneath is a swimming pool and the ground floor is an O2 academy (music venue). The stairs are outside and also made of concrete. Once inside the rink the walls are painted in a way you might expect in a nursery and only a metre or two away from the boards. Even allowing for the rubbish ice quality and mouldy changing rooms that feel like a horror film scene the atmosphere from having fans standing right up against the glass makes it a great place to play at.
