I think the kid is miles ahead of Jim Cummins, Travis Brigley and Charlie Stephens(I know Stephens was sent down) and did not look out of place out there. He has a mean streak to him despite his size and threw some good hits, plus he's solid defensively killing penalties, wins a decent amount of face-offs and while nothing special offensively, he can pass the puck rather well.
Brigley is a dumb oaf, and we've seen how unsuccessful dumb players are... Scott Parker, Chris McAllister, etc. I do not see NHL caliber out of this guy regardless of what he can do in five or six games.
Moore > Brigley, in my most humble opinion.
Moore is better than Brigley, but the problem with Moore is that he is a very, very slow skater. He's physical, smart, plays responsibly defensively, and has a move or two in his - *ahem* - arsenal. But he is slowslowslow.
I agree with you on Brigley. He sucks.
